王偉繼，男，1972年05月生人，于2012年06月獲中國海洋大學海洋生物專業博士學位。現任中國水產科學研究院黃海水產研究所研究員，碩士生導師。主要從事海水動物遺傳育種及漁業資源評估等方面的研究，近年來主持包括山東省農業良種工程項目子課題、十三五國家重點基礎研發計劃子課題、農業農村部政府購買項目、青島海洋科學與技術試點國家和實驗室十四五重大項目子課題、十四五國家重點研發計劃項目子課題等多項課題、項目，主持經費500萬元以上；近五年第一及通訊作者發表論文15篇（其中SCI收錄11篇）、出版著作1部（主編）、2022年獲中國水產學會范蠡科學技術獎科技進步二等獎（排名第五）。2006-2007美國俄亥俄州立大學訪問學者。任農業農村部水產種質與漁業環境質量監督檢驗測試中心（青島）水產種質檢測實驗室主任。上海海洋大學、大連海洋大學、江蘇海洋大學、青島科技大學兼職碩士生導師。
